Typically 4–6 times cheaper, while adding only 8–12 days versus air. For goods with a turnover cycle longer than two weeks, rail is almost always the better economics.
Because there is no transhipment and delivery goes to an exact address. On rail the container changes flatcars at the border and runs to a station, from which it still has to be trucked. A truck arrives at your warehouse gate — and for fragile or high-value goods that often matters more than the rate difference.
A mismatch between the invoice and the actual contents, a wrong HS code, and a missing conformity certificate. All three are eliminated by a pre-shipment document check.
We issue a warehouse card in Chinese with the address, contact and your personal client code. You forward it to the factory, and the cargo arrives already tagged to you.
From 1 kg. For very light but bulky items volumetric weight applies, so the final rate depends on the packaging dimensions — we will advise how to pack more cheaply.
By the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight, where volumetric = L × W × H in cm ÷ 6000. We re-engineer the packing in advance to cut the chargeable figure.
